Who are we?

Richard (aka Moggy) has classic car DNA flowing through him, having owned, restored and raced various classics since the age of 17. He has also worked in the energy efficiency industry for the past 20 years, helping some of the world’s largest organisations reduce their carbon emissions. Electric Classic Cars™ was born out of the passion for classic cars and the desire to make them more reliable and ecological to drive.

What do we do?

At Electric Classic Cars™ we are leading experts in electric conversions of classic cars from the ‘50s to early ‘80s. We’re enormously proud of our portfolio of iconic classic conversions, full restorations and dream builds, as well as the knowledge and experience we've built up in this new and exciting market.

If you need a standard EV conversion on your existing classic we provide the best service with attention to detail that is second to none. Our conversions are tailor-made to meet our customers’ requirements. We take time during the planning process to make sure that each build suits our client’s specifications and driving style. We work hard to leave the essence of your classic car untouched – but at the same time we bring it bang up to date with 21st century innovation giving you improved reliability and more power! With some older classics you’ll need a brake upgrade to cope with your improved power. We can add this into your build along with other modern enhancements such as electric heating, power steering, regenerative braking, upgraded suspension and more. We also offer some light restoration work, resprays and interiors.
